Effizienz-Agentur NRW –
North Rhine-Westphalia

The Effizienz-Agentur NRW (EFA) is the centre for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia for all queries regarding cleaner production and resource efficiency. It was founded in 1998 as part of an initiative set up by the Ministry for the Environment in North Rhine-Westphalia.

EA – Switzerland

EA is a swiss based eco-innovation and expertise center, based in Geneva. As an innovation center, EA contributes to the development and diffusion new tools and methods in close relationship with local universities. As an expertise center, EA promotes life cycle thinking and supports local SMEs in their actions towards ressource and energy efficiency.

Ihobe – Basque

Ihobe is the Agency of the Basque Government that designs environmental policy tools, transfers knowledge, promotes networking between companies, government and public authorities and supports companies and municipalities with services and projects to implement sustainability, climate change mitigation, eco-efficiency and ecodesign.

Thanks to the sustainable management of wastes and materials, soil remediation and the prevention of soil pollution, OVAM, the Public Waste Agency of Flanders (Belgium), contributes to a healthier environment and hence a better quality of life.

Pôle Eco-conception –
Rhône-Alpes, France

Pôle Eco-conception is an association of industries dealing with the diffusion of best practices in product development including the environment and sustainability.

Core activities of the association include: diffusion of best practices; research; academic supervision; knowledge transfer; training; publishing.

Ecodesign Centre (EDC) – Wales

Established in 2006, EDC is a UK based knowledge-intensive organisation specialising in making ecodesign happen.
EDC develops and delivers collaborative multi-sectoral ecodesign projects in partnership with the private, public and third sector.

The Welsh Government supports EDC's role within ENEC.
